Amazon will organize 'Small Business Day' on Tomorrow

Legendary e-commerce company Amazon will hold the third edition of its 'Small Business Day 2020' on June 27. The company said in its statement that manufacturers, startups, craftsmen and weavers affected by Covid-19 will participate in the event. The event will encourage buyers to find and buy unique products offered by small businesses and micro-entrepreneurs. 

Customers will have the opportunity to support small businesses, women entrepreneurs, local employment and the economy.

Under Amazon's various programs such as Local Shops, Amazon Launchpad, Amazon Saheli and Amazon Artisan, customers will be able to buy new and unique products. This would include home essentials, regional weaving in fashion, handcraft items and footwear, wall decorations. Similarly products such as hangings, sculptures and figurines, utensils, and sports essentials will be available at many theme stores such as India Bazaar, Budget Buy and Bestsellers.

SMBs are the backbone of the Indian economy, producing the most unique products. These businesses continued to grow until the hurdle created by the Covid-19.
